Are there industries, careers, jobs that a financial advisor's skill sets transition to relatively well? I have tired of living off commission sales and want a job with a somewhat stable $50k plus salary.
You can take CFA and become a financial analyst. A more behind the scene type of job rather than selling products.
You can take CFP and become a financial planner. Work for yourself or with other personal financial management firms.
If you are more mathematical and analytical then CFA is probably better. If you like to work more directly with customers, then CFP probably works for you. Either way $50k is reasonable to obtain.
Best wishes.
